When Jimmy and Ted Wilson decided to start their own venture after working with Meeks Construction for sixteen years. Jimmy eventually fully acquired the business in 1991. His tradition of hard work can be tracked back even to the time spent working as a farmer and carpenter all throughout high school.
“The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” this statement holds true in that Jimmy Wilson’s two daughters were inspired by their father to begin J&J Construction, Inc. In 1994 they quickly went on to be a certified DWBE business.
Upon Wilson’s retirement his son, Dodd Wilson, joined with his sisters at J&J Construction , Inc. In honor of their father and uncle, the company name was changed to Wilson Brothers, Inc. In 2002. Many of the original employees of their father’s company were invited to join the workforce.
Wilson Brothers, Inc. continues the family legacy today by providing the honesty, integrity and service demonstrated by the original founders.
